Privacy Policy
Wind Shot: Crossbow Range — Last updated: August 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile game Wind Shot: Crossbow Range ("the App"), developed by Zekco Studios ("we", "us"), handles your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Google account sign-in (optional): The App offers optional sign-in with Google so that your scores can appear on the online leaderboards. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication (a Google service), which receives basic profile information from your Google account and issues an account identifier (UID). Playing the App without signing in is fully supported; all game features except online leaderboards work offline.
- Nickname: If you sign in, you choose a nickname (2–16 characters). It is shown publicly on the leaderboards.
- Score data: If you sign in, the following is stored on our server (Google Firebase Firestore): your nickname, your account identifier, your country/region code (derived from your device's language setting, not from GPS), your per-level best scores, your total score, your daily mission results, your weekly mission results, and a timestamp.
- Device identifier: The App generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. It is sent with your scores so that the same device is not listed multiple times on the leaderboard when several Google accounts are used. This is not your device's hardware ID or advertising ID, and it cannot be used to identify you outside the App.
- Advertising data: The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and related data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Advertising Policy.
- Crash and diagnostic data: The App uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose crashes and errors. When an error occurs, the following is sent: the error message and stack trace, the app version, the level number being played, a randomly generated installation identifier, and standard device information such as operating system version, device model, and available memory. We do not send your nickname, email address, or account identifier with crash reports.
- Purchase status: In-app purchases (Remove Ads, gold packs) are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Only whether the "Remove Ads" purchase is active is stored on your device.
- Local data: Level progress, gold, arrow stock, and settings are stored only on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the App.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect your phone number, contacts, photos, calendar, microphone or camera input, or precise location. We do not store your email address on our servers; it remains with Google's authentication service if you choose to sign in.
3. How Information Is Used
- Leaderboard entries (nickname, country flag, level, score) are displayed publicly inside the App's Hall of Fame, Daily Ranking, and Weekly Ranking.
- The device identifier is used only to prevent duplicate leaderboard entries from the same device.
- Crash and diagnostic data is used solely to find and fix errors in the App. It is not used for advertising or profiling.
- Advertising data is used by Google AdMob to serve ads, which keep the App free.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for any purpose other than those listed above.
4. Third-Party Services
5. Data Retention
Leaderboard, daily mission, and weekly mission records are kept while your account exists. If you delete your account (see below), they are removed. Crash and diagnostic reports are retained by Google Firebase Crashlytics in accordance with Google's retention policy. Data stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the App.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Signing in is optional, and leaderboard entries show only a self-chosen nickname.
7. Account and Data Deletion
How to delete your account inside the App
- Open the App and tap the settings button.
- Sign in if you are not already signed in.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
How to request deletion without the App
If you have already uninstalled the App or cannot sign in, email zekcostudios@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and include the nickname shown on the leaderboard. We will process the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account and its identifier
- Your nickname, country code, total score, and per-level best scores stored on our server
- Your daily mission and weekly mission records stored on our server
What is not deleted
- Progress stored only on your device. Uninstalling the App removes it.
- A nickname that is attached to a world record for an individual level, which is kept as part of the game's historical record. Contact us if you want it removed as well.
- Daily or weekly mission records from periods that are no longer known to the device you delete from — for example if you played on another device, or cleared the App's data. Contact us using the address above and we will remove them.
- Crash and diagnostic reports, which are not linked to your account and therefore cannot be matched to an individual user.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
8. Changes to This Policy
